We have an ACAD file that we are attempting to link into a Revit model that, according to Revit, would make the model extents over the (2) mile limit.  We have opened and cleaned out every visible object in the source file, and can't find anything, in any direction, that we can see as causing this.

Anyone else happen upon this?

Open the CAD file in autocad, purge all, then create a WBLOCK with another name and with 0,0,0 coordinates and select by window/crossing what you want, then link in revit, check if the problem persist...

i get the same message when importinig civil plans.  i always have to adjust the scale factor when i import.  but i do agree with typhoon the first thing to is check to see if there is something out in no mans land on your acad file.  i have also had layers that were turned off and items that were on the layer were not seen so it looked as if there wasan't anthing but what i was importing.
