Can you elaborate your question please? "i've done my contours but now i need to get it graded for basement" You have done your Contour in what software? Revit? Civil?? How? Do you want to create a PAD to create a "Basement" in your building???

Thanks Typhoon.

I'm using Revit Architecture 2009. I've done the contours using the points [yes, I have the z calculated for each point]. Because the house is on a slope, I have started with created levels - basment level, crawlspace , ground level top of wall and roof level. I've drawn the foundation walls with bearing footings and slab using the Structural/Foundation wall and slab tool. Through thi sprocess, i find it really time consuming but I tried to do it as if I am building from ground up. I don't seem to be able to do it from plan so I use the section tools to help me to move the slab and foundation wall. I don't know if there is a faster and smarter wall of doing that. Also, I don't udnerstand what is the pad, sub region different from each other and how is that different from the slab. I wish there is a video tutorials on toposuface so I can learn.

" I can't open in quick time, media, etc."....weird, I could open that .mp4 file using WMP, VLC, Quick Time & Real Player. The other  file (.swf), is the same video but you can open it with Flash Player or Haihaisoft Universal Player.....
