i was wondering if there is a way to lock a linked Revit file as well as pin it.  It can be so frustrating trying to pick objects and to have the link light up in red as well.  I have the link pinned but I can still chose it and thats really annoying.

Just wondering,Ken@rlmrlm.com

Yeah but its still that extra click to remove it from the filter and its just annoying.  So I am guessing there isn't a way to prevent it from happening.  I got spoiled in AutoCAD with the lock command.

Here's what I've been doing:

go to Manage -> Design Options -> New -> I name it "arch links" -> CloseThen, select the links you want to put on the design option, then Manage -> Add to Set -> "arch links"Now, as long as the Exclude Options box is checked at the bottom right of the screen, you can't select anything in the architectural link.
