Hi all, I'm new to this site and a little overwhelmed.  I'm looking for info for revit workstations.  We just got Revit a few months ago and our boss has agreed that the current workstations just don't have enough horse power to do the job.  Can you recommend a system configuration or a site that recommends workstation configurations for Revit?  I tried looking through AutoDesk's site, and I'm still looking.

Dave

There's a lot of good computer out there... it's really up to your budget. i7 975 extreme processor is the top of the line right now as far as i know.. for GPU i think it's the ATI qd 4800. Also, 8 gig RAM will do if you'll be doing a lot of renderings. Check some threads below for more infos.

with all the options of 2011 we can keep this simple:

1. Min proceesor ( i7 980x extreme processor )

2. Min Ram (12GB 1333MHz DDR3)

3.Gamers Graphic Card w/ DirectX Support. Take your chose.

i know this dosent't help. it's just my new outlook. if your motherboard can support this, then it's a keeper.
