Let me start by describing what I'm trying to do. When you open a wall type properties and go into edit it allows you to modify the verticle structure so that you can pull materials on the outside of the wall down to the foundation top (on exterior walls). I want to edit my floor so that I can pull my finish flooring material over to the wall (there is an expansion joint so the wall edge and flooring do not line up). Is there a way to do this? I tried to edit the floor structure simular to the way you edit a wall but there was no modify option for the materials. Is there a work around for what I'm trying to do? Covering up the gap with trim will only work for certain parts of the building, I need to be able to pull the flooring material over in one instance. About the project: I have an exterior deck that is covered by the rafter system on my building (rafters are supported by columns on the outside of the deck and run to the center ridge beam). The floor is slab on grade, the slab stops 2" from the foundation wall (to allow for expansion joint made from rigid insulation) and is level with the top of the foundation wall. The slab has a wood flooring system on top, I need the treated wood flooring on the exterior of the building to extend to the outside edge of the foundation wall. The problem is the flooring ends 2" inside the interior edge of the foundation wall, in the same spot the slab ends. (the way i constructed the flooring system allows for this to work but I cannot get it to look right in revit) Any type of solutions or work arounds for this problem would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

No, you can't do what you want but in detail views, you can edit the cut profile of any layer of walls, floors, ceilings and roofs. Check your HELP to learn how to Edit Cut Profile.
