I have seen many a lovely rendered floor plan and cannot seem to get it right in Revit. I've searched the threads and have found little tidbits, but nothing concrete to fix my problem. I try to render the first floor of a building and all my interiors are black. I've trid using artificial lights but they didn't seem to work. I tried orienting the 3d view to floor plan, still black. I even tried copying the project and deleting the 2nd floor, still black. Any tips? Using RAC2009.

Duplicate your 3D view, view properties and tick 'section box'

then cut your section box to remove your ceiling etc, set the view from top, and render

That should work fine Smile
