im in a company that is using 3ds in rendering, while im using revit.. i just want to import their ready made furniture in 3ds to revit to lessen my work time.. Smile pls help me guys.. TIA

Yes is possible, just convert that 3DS to DWG then you can import that "Object" into a new Furniture Family BUT watch out, if you want/have different materials in that family you must create different "Colors" in 3DS in that object, in this way you can apply different materials for the different parts of the object.

In 3DS change the colors for the parts of the obj. you want to apply different materials, then in Revit you will see in the materials box something like this "Render ###.###.###", this is the color in 3ds and now you can change to revit mat.
