I've installed Revit 2009 and 2010 on a new win7 64 bit machine.  I want to take my previous r2009 imperial library and copy it to the new machine since it has a years worth of cusomization...should be a simple "copy folder".  but the file path that shows up when I open for the library is cPuhrogramData\Autodesk\RAC 2009\Imperial Library.  This path and file location does not show up in explorer, so I can't copy the old folder to this location. there is no c:\ProgramData showing on the computer.  Is it some sort of hidden directory?

Thanks.

In exployer - under folder options / view tab - make sure show hidden files and folders is checked.

that's it, thanks!  This option is pretty well hidden in win7.

Here's how to display hidden files and folders.

  1. Click to open Folder Options.

  2. Click the View tab.

  3. Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click OK.

To learn more about hidden files, see What is a hidden file?
