I am using Revit 2009 and have found that even medium quality renders at 300dpi can take forever on my laptop. I ma now about to buy a desk top computer and wanted to know if anyone could advise an ideal spec to buy - i have been told a 4 core CPU will vastly speed things up Alos does nayone know whether Revit works better with NVIDIA garphics card or an ATI? Thanks

Even I was looking for some spec but could not find it & went ahead and bought desktop Quard core 2.66 ghz with 4 gb ram & 1gb graphic card. Result while rendering is too slow. You may go for i.7 processor to achive faster results
