I'm working in Revit Architecture 2010. I want to create a property within a wall type with the fire rating of the wall. Then I would like to associate this property with a graphic that would appear when the wall is cut in plan or section. For example if the wall is 1 hr rated and I cut it in plan then a light dashed line would appear, but if it's 2 hr rated then a heavy dashed line would appear. Is this possible?

No... sorry. You can use coarse fill patterns but most of us don't feel that works so we all use lines on our rated wall plans. You can lock the lines to the CL of the wall.

You could create two different walls (for each fire rating). Each wall would be made of a different material that would coorespond to the hatch pattern you are looking for. Well, this would work as long as it does not mess up any wall schedules... MB
