I researched and found some old info, but it doesnt seem to apply in 2010.

When you type UN, the project units comes up, but it doesnt look like you can globally change all units to metric.

I have an existing template that I made from another job from the same customer, but on this job I need to do metric, so how can I change it or start a new file with metric using my existing template?

I am not sure changing the UN stuff will change everything to metric.  What about showing pipe sizes, and duct sizes in metric, and selecting which ones?

This should not be difficult, but even the help doesnt help that much.  There just seems to be way too many things to change manually.  Cant it be changed globally?

You set your project units seperately from other units like dimensions.  Some items like elevations are usually set to project units but can be over-ridden.  You need to establish a metric template.

Have you found the answer already. I have the exactly same problem here but with a pack of families from imperial to change it to metric. It would be very helpful to find a north in this issue.

Thanks in advance.
