Hi guys, using 2010.  Created a profile which shows Csection, flashing and gutter.  and using it as a gutter family.  it works fine it appears in 3D and elevations but on my section views that cut through it i cant see it.   I need it there and details?

Thanks.

Hi,

2 possibilities.

1. Same material which got merged with the same.

2.Check with fine mode.

i changed the material and its still not showing.

I am in fine view, its not appearing in coarse or medium either. It does appear in all those settings on my elevations.

That will Teach me for trying to be clever and save time instead of drawing it on every section and detail!?

Did you create that profile family with "invisibles Lines" or what?

There is no reason why it should not display.  It  could be a number of things - have you checked the following:

Turned off in VG

Hidden in view

In a workset that is turned off in the view

In a design option that is turned off

In a different phase

Are you using this profile as a wall sweep?  If so check to see if it has 'cuttable' checked.
