Hey all, I'm getting frustrated with the family editor (which I'm new at using). I am trying to modify a door with sidelite family which is typically centered in the hosting wall. I want to change the justification so I can use it in a masonry wall with a frame setback from the exterior finish face of the wall. How do I justify the entire family to the exterior face of wall and disassociate it with the cente rof the wall? Man, I must be making this a lot harder than it is, at least I hope I am. Thanks in advance.

By default the plane is the centreline of the wall. Create a new reference plane and give it a parameter from the putside of the wall and realign. Align the geometry to the ref plane and that will move as the reference plane moves.
