s trhere any way to link PDF information to component in revit SO if anyone using revit may click  on the pdf file to see the product specification.

Not that I know of but you can build in a hot-link in the properties of an element.

Maybe.  I haven't tried it myself, but there IS an add-on for Revit that will take a PDF and convert it to a dxf file format and import THAT in.  I do not know if it imports in as an image then or separate lines, but that may work for a drafting view.  If you need that in an actual section view or elevation view, try grouping the lines and bringing it in that way.

 

But like I said, I haven't tried it myself; and sorry I do not have a link to direct you to the add-on.  I did a general search for 'Revit Add-ons' using Google.

Hub do u mean to say URL parameter. Please see attached snapshot

I think it gives you the location of file. I cannot open the file directly.

let me know if there is something else

Rams ... this is one of those screwy things in REVIT.  Place the URL address or even a network address in that URL field.  You are right - clicking on that does nothing except it pops up the little box with the ... on the right - the traditional dropdown box right?  .... think again - click on the box and see what happens! <Big GRIN>
