How do I change the color of a reveal with out changing the rest of the wall color?

Can't...but you can cut the reveal deeper and put a sweep in there.....

you can use the paint bucket tool to paint a different material in the reveal afterwards.

Have tried this but it does not show through in shaded with edges setting .....can render though....any clue about this
