Hi Experts I am trying to make some objects that in "coarse" mode will show minimal detail, so it can function as a sketch project. Right now it is my windows that show too much detail. I have attached a picture that shows the level of detail i want my window to show in coarse mode. How can i make i do that? i know its something to do with messing around in family mode. But i am not that good with familys. So if that answer is about editing the families i would like a link to a tutorial, if thats possible Kind Regards McGade

You forgot to attach the image, but, YES you must edit the family and change the visibility of the elements in the several modes, when you edit the family and pick in the element in the "options bar" you can see the "visibility" button, pick on that and you can change what you want to see in Plan, in elevation (front/ left...) and when you cut the obj. also you define if you want to see in the several modes or only in one (i.e. coarse, medium and Fine mode)
