See the attached. I am doing an addition in the corner of two existing buildings. The existing buildings have 3'-0" Overhangs. I have hidden the roof of the existing building so that I can see the entire new roof below. For a clean drawing I would like to draw a masking region over the existing buildings so that all I see is the outline of the existing building - you will notice that you can see walls because I have hidden the existing roof. When I try and draw a masking region, it doesn't cover anything up. My view is set to hidden line. Please help! Thanks!

Masking regions work ... transparent filled regions would not work... but another way - just window cross the existing inside the exterior walls and right click - hide in view ... or you could be creative and do a plan region....
