mtelford active Joined: Tue, Dec 9, 2008 17 Posts	I am trying to use a Wood Surface Pattern only in a Fill. However, the Pattern file that i am using only has it with the grain running horizontally. I need it to be vertical. How can i change this?

erland73 active Joined: Fri, Sep 7, 2007 738 Posts	Your pattern must be a Model Pattern Type, so use your TAB KEY to select one of the lines and rotate it with the rotate tool.... mtelford active Joined: Tue, Dec 9, 2008 17 Posts	That worked perfectly. Thanks. For those doing research: Open the Fill Pattern File. Go down to the particular pattern title. When at the end of the title line, hit ENTER to create a new line. Type ";%MODEL" - This will make the pattern fill able to be rotated as erland73 said. Keep in mind that i did this using an AutoCAD fill pattern file. not sure if it works for other types or not.
