New to this program. Had no problem building the structure with materials, doors, stair and all other Architectural details. Inserted plumbing fixtures and developed a sanitary system Not too many problems, but all the piping has red lines around it. Why?

Also, how can I have specific pipes included in different system types.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you type VG, it'll bring up "Visibility and Graphics," and if you click on Visibility/Graphics Overrides in the lower left hand corner of the screen that brings up, you can browse the defaults for linetype scales and colors.

Typically, lines are black, but if you have interest in exporting to autocad, sometimes it's useful to allign walls/windows/plumbing/etc. to colors that match your ACAD standards.

So, somewhere within the dropdown boxes you'll find plumbing fixtures, and maybe a subset of that has gotten itself turned to red instead of the default black.

Possibly this is only the case in one view...?  if that's the case, navigate to that particular plumbing feature from the first screen that comes up when you type VG -- without going to the override.

 hope this helps.

Sorry, I tried doing that from memory without Revit open.  When you type VG, it's "Object Styles"

Yeah.  Plumbing fixutres, or the subcatagory of hidden lines might be red.
