I'm having trouble working in elevation with many elements in my project. It seems that if I draw something in plan I can't go to the elevation and move the whole element up or down. It will only move side to side. How do I enable vertical manipulation in my project? Is it a 'workplane' issue, or something else? I set a work plane in the elevation but I still can't move things up or down. What do I do?
Thanks,
Craig

Most items when placed in plan are associated to a work plane and as such they are locked to it and cannot be moved by selecting and using the move command.
You can select the element though in most cases and enter in an appropriate offset from the workplane to move them up and down. Also in some cases when selecting the element you may be able to disassociate the work plane (little blue icon of plane will show up), which will allow you the freedom to move the object with the move command.
