hello

I'm trying to figure out how to copy my curtain wall from one wall into another.  It is also gouped.  I have probibly 20 instances of that curtain wall in one wall and i'd like to copy it into other exterior walls. am i screwed?  Using revit 2008.  Thanks in advance for your help

First question - why is it grouped.  Groups are very special and you use them when you want to place same groupings elsewhere.  I doubt that is what you have.

OK - Just tab and select your curtain wall - it doesn't matter if it's in the group, it will be selected seperately.  Copy to clipboard and paste of just copy and place.

Thanks whub.  that worked great.  I was trying the copy command on the tool bar...

I grouped the curtain wall so i could edit it and all instance would update.  Would you sugets i do it different?  Make a family?
