downloaded doors family library from autodesk, loaded some doors into project, but they are not visible in the type selector.  i remember reading this in another thread but can't locate it.  any help would be great.  thanks!

Hi jprado, you can verify if your doors are loaded in the Project Browser-->Families category, if so, just drag and drop to your mode (see image).

thanks, but revit says the family is loaded but not in use, even though it does not appear in type selector or project browser.  see image

Hi jprado, I downloaded the same elevator door you have just to try, you can find it in the Project Browser-->Families-->Specialty Equipment, just drag and drop....
