yes thanks typhoon..

it's always been like that with any printer i've

ever had (since revit 8 anyway)..

just print a shaded line view from

revit and see the three fine white lines

running the full length horizontally..

i would be amazed if it didn't do it for

you because it has always done that

for me with many different computers and printers..

try it and if you don't see it i'll scan and post

one for you to see..

I reported this to Autodesk technical support in October 2012. They have confirmed that this is indeed a problem, still there in Revit Architecture 2012, and the issue has been forwarded to development for investigation.

I get the white lines when the following conditions are met:

- hidden line or shaded view

- ambient shadows enabled (cast shadows make no difference)

- perspective view

- high-res image, like 5000x3000 pixels. The problem does not occur on small images like 1024x768. The larger the image the more lines I get.

- fairly complex project -- does not occur if there are just a couple of walls and pieces of furniture.

The lines are vertical when the size of the exported image is set to a vertical pixel dimension, horizontal when the the horizontal pixel dimension is set.
