whats the difference with save & save central ?

 suddently save central as appeared instead of save.

does any 1 know if this is a problem or is it just the same as save ?

If you have a "save to central" available, that is because you have enabled worksets and file sharing. Worsharing enables more than one person to work on the file at the same time.  Single user files only have save available.

Since this is all new to you, you need to spend some time in your HELP reading up on worksharing, local & central files and worksets before you get in too deep.

also to add to what WWHub said. Once the option is enabled it cannot be un-done. i also say spend some time in the HELP.

hi there,

in revit programe we have 3 ways to save file

1,"save' tool as the other softwere

2."save as" tool one may creat a new file or use for the first time make central file

3,"save central'tool when we want to workset that sharing file permit we work in team

the save central button it is only red when we active workset

it is only revit working strongly in group by worksharing
