Hi guys, really really not liking revit much today. im trying to model a roof, i cant work it out. i have a house that is being extended. the new roof has to be a few courses higher and at a different pitch. there will be modifications to the existing roof in order to tie it in and avoid box gutters. so when im trying to model my roof how can i make it? if i do two seperate roofs it wont work because i need it to do the curse valleys where the pitch changes meet etc etc. i suppose what im asking is can i do a roof with different height eaves? if the higher eave needs to run into a roof face how can i do that? if i make by footprint it fails as lines are intersecting etc. very frustrating. appreciate any help you can give me atall!! thanks. pic attached of the culprit.
