I am working on a project with 3 buildings on one site. They are all rotated differently and I would like to assign each building its own project north. Can I do this without splitting it into 3 seperate projects and linking them in for an overall site plan?

If they are all the same, why wouldn't you want to do them as three projects linked together?

If they are different, I still would do them seperately.  But if you want to do them in the same file, keep project north the same for all and just rotate the view to work on them and place them on the sheet.  REVIT will keep track of north.

The simple answer to your question is no.  Revit requires you to specify the angle from True North to Project North when setting up the rotations... you cannot have more than one project north specified.  You'll have to link the files... or rotate the views on your sheets.  Just enable the crop region, select it and rotate it.

Thank you both. I think it will pay off in the long run to split the project up now.

I am working with the same issue but I have 4 buildings that are all in separate models. Each model except for one has the same project north.  I am trying to set up the 1 model to respect the true north of all other models but have a different project north.  When I change the project north in the individule building it changes the true north and then when I link the other revit models in to they are not in the correct location. Any thoughts?
