i wonder if anyone ever thought about just measuring

the lines on a SketchUp model IN THE SKETCHUP PROGRAM

and building it fresh in revit? you can't apply building elements

to half the SketchUp lines anyway- not to mention all the

other line problems you get..

thoughts please..

I simply dont waste my time with SU other than to use it for some of its graphics capabilities, but then I am also learning Impressions so goodbye SU.

thanks dasher..

i'm sure you will be quite pleased with the new design/massing

tools in revit 2010..

but for me i'm not a design artist.. (wish i was)..

i only design the construction and produce the documents

as well as make model presentations..

but i have to have a real artist design the building..

i can build from a pencil sketch, Maya, Rino, SketchUp

etc. etc.- but SketchUp is the most popular with artists..
