Hi When I attach a bearing footing to my wall with the base extension of the inside layers at slab level and the rest of the wall at T.O footing level, 2 footings appear - 1 at the extension layer and one at the bottom of the wall where I need it to be. How do I get rid of the second footing? Thanks

I have just come across this problem too. Does anyone know a solution? Adding finish layers to walls is great...until now. Obvisouly I don't want my gwb to extend down to footing.

I split the wall horizontally at the floor line and use a foundation wall which doesn't have the interior finishes.
