Hi All, I just finished my first Revit project in Revit 2009 and found it difficult to view (in plan view) the walls and components when they all are either black/ white(with a black background). How can I change the line types so that they are colored as in a traditional autocad drawing so I can find the components I want easier?

The Revit display is WYSIWYG. The screen shows how it will print. You can create new linetypes with different colours or change the colour of lines in components but they will print in these colours. I don't have any difficulty viewing the walls or components. Revit also identifies the components when you hover your mouse above them.
