Please advise on any or all of these;

1. When I split a wall to attach part to a roof, the split line stays in floor plan. I don't want it to show.

2. All walls, (same height), clean up perfect in floor plan. In roof plan some clean up and others don't.

3. Beams that are at plate ht. in floor plan don't display in roof plan. I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how this view range works.

I'm on Revit 09.

Thanks ALl,

Phil

1) Often I find to bite the bullet and go for the linework tool and get some sleep.

2)Are they joining roof? Maybe draft outline over with pick line tool and switch walls off. Neater!

3)I assume you have tried checking phases, hitting the reveal all hidden magic button and try wireframe, it might reveal what you want to see. Turn ceiling off and floors. there might be something like that obscuring you view. View range works like it says it does, you just aren't working it right. It will be something else but go for unlimited depth and cut your height well above the roof then switch off one by one all catagories not wanted. I use right click hide in view. 2009 was worth it for that alone.

Thanks Shaun. I need to keep messing with view range. I'm sure I'll figure it out.
