I'm stumped - we have our text and dimensions set up with a background mask; when I print from my machine (either to pdf or the plotter) it comes out correctly and the text is masking the drawing elements as it should be.

When my coworker prints the same file from his computer, the background mask disappears, and all of the text and dimensions appear to be overlapping the drawing elements, making the information very difficult to read.

Raster vs Vector printing does not appear to make a difference.

I'm assuming this must be a setting somewhere, but I cannot find it.  Does anyone know how to control the opacity of the text mask when you print?

 Thanks!!

If your just looking to change the background to opaque for the text box, its located in element properties --> edit new--> Background.

As far as an option for when you are printing im not sure.

Thanks - I do have the text background set to opaque.  I think this is more of a printing issue...

Well the only thing that i could think of then would be to match the printing properties for each machine. But im sure thats your next option anyways.. Goodluck
