I'm using Revit 2009 and I'm trying to create a stair with 2 intermidiate landings between 1 level. it is made up of 1 straight string, a landing, a curved stair, a landing, and then another straight stair. I can get revit to build the stairs and landings but the landings aren't quite the shape I want so when i go into sketch mode and edit them it gives me this error......"Stairs require no more than two boundries (chain of one or more boundary Lines)". Not sure what this means cause I have it drawn correctly. Frustrated so much I merely erased one of the Revit Created boundary lines and redrew it in the same way and it gave me them same error.

I've tried creating with just boundry and riser commands and that is fine until i add the 2nd landing and then I get the same error.

what's up with the stair tool in this program.

thanks,

Do not put a boundry where your landings meeting the stairs, just treat the landings as one big step.
