Is the sweep part of the wall settings or just a hosted wall sweep? What version of revit are you using? If its part of the wall and in version 8, check that in the wall properties you have set the sweep to be cuttable. If it still doesn't work, edit the window family in place, change a value in the family types then reload back into the project (you don't actually need to make any changes) this causes revit to use the new functionality of windows (revit tries to preserve previous behaviour in upgraded files until you reload them). This should now cut. We use this all the time for block sills. HTH.

There is no 7.1. This issue was fixed in one of the later builds of version 7.0. Either try to get hold of the latest build and do what i previously suggested or you'll need to upgrade to 8.0 to take advantage of this new functionality.
