i am exporting my METRIC project out to run a clash detection in Navisworks. so in my Export scene as, dialog box i go to Navisworks settings and set the world units to millimeters (metric job) and ok

i open the job project in naviswork change the file units and transform dialog to millimeters as well as the Global options/interface/display units to millimeters and my model is not the correct size.

to get the correct size i have to export out as world units inches and change the file units and transform units to inches and keep the display units to millimeters to get the correct size.

with my autocad mep model everything changes to millimeters which makes sense.

so this had led me to believe that there is a problem with my metric template file, so i tested this with an out-of-the metric template file and the same thing has happened.

so has anybody else found a problem exporting to navisworks using meteric units. and has anybody found a solution.

Hi,

We had this problem also but we found the solution is to use feet instead of metric and dont ask why.
