Revit Architecture 2009 I would like to use two different tittleblocks one large tittleblock and then smaller 8.5"x11" tittleblocks for each of the details on the larger sheet. I have placed 2 titleblocks on a sheet. Is there a way to crop view everything outside of the small titleblock so when I print the larger block and other images won't appear? Ie. Is there a way to set a title block to show only what is inside the block boundry lines? Thanks

You are trying to use Revit like AutoCAD... Not a good idea. You should only ever have one titleblock per sheet view. If you require the same views on different size titleblocks with different layouts then I suggest you duplicate the view as a dependent or simply print the same view at half scale if appropriate...

Thanks Mr. Spot, I hope I am not trying to work like Autocad since I loath the program, but the firm wants to keep it similar to the old style with small size reissued addendum details pulled off the sheets. The duplicate with dpendent does work but it creates more files on the list. I did come up with a solution is very simple. Create a white masking fill region inset of your tittle block family as a border. Make addendum changes in the parent view. Go to sheet and overlay titleblock and print to TTB view at 100% to PDF and create your digital file of changes made in addendum. Not sure if this is the best way, but it doesn't create any new views or sheets and the parent view with clouds will remain for the conformed set. Thanks

Look at this discussion on AUGI http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=53492 Load the family that is there. You can place this 8.5x11 sketch over your normal sheet and it will mask the rest of the sheet.

Drag it from your browser and drop on the sheet or just select create instance
