Hi, My office has been slowly implementing REVIT Architecture 2009 and I'm taking my first shot at creating families. I am working on a building that will have generally the same countertops throughout. The one caveat is that some of the counters will be butting up against an angled wall. That being said, most of the counters will be rectilinear while a few will need to have one side at an angle (and there are multiple different angles needed throughout the project). So, I would like a parameter that I can simply change the value from 90* to 45*, for example, and one side of the counter top will essentially "miter" itself to that angle. Since there are a lot of crazy angles, I would rather not go the "yes/no" route because I'd be creating a large quantity of extrusions in the family. I drew a reference line with an angle parameter, flexed it, and it worked fine. However, when I attached the countertop extrusion, the entire extrusion rotated about that reference line instead of the reference line cutting the geometry to create the mitered end. Any thoughts? I've attached the model I'm working with. Thanks in advance.

create a void extrusion that flexes with the length of your counter and attach this to the reference line. The ref line can have an angle parameter. See image
