Hi starting 2nd project with this amazing program so i am still learning. I would like to know what is the best way to do the brick detail that runs down the side of the garage door jamb running into the render as shown on the attached photo. I know i could just make it look right on the 2D elevation but want it to show in 3D as well, should i just use a quoin sized to suit?. Also the dentil detail under the roof eaves, is this best done with a railing. Any help as always appreciated.

Hi, you can "Split Face" in that area and assign that "Texture" or you can create a family 2d profile and go to "moddeling-Host sweep-wall sweep" and create that wall sweep in that area, also you can create a "Wall Based family" and create those bricks with array parameter with pattern in elevation and in Cut, then when you create a Section View in that door you have the right detail and you don't need to use 2D details.... there are several ways to do that....
