An elegant solution indeed. In order to show the rest of the wall, (the membrane, sub-strate, studs, and inteiror finish), I could join the exterior finish curtainwall with a wall with the rest of the pieces.

That's the idea, create the wall like you want but don't put sweeps then create the "curtain wall" in the exterior.... then when you "Cut" you have the Total "With" of the wall....
