RA 2009

Does anyone know if its possible to export or print to a 3D pdf? Has anyone tried it or is this a plug-in/extension app? We have a structural consultant that uses them quite often but they are Bentley Structural users.

Thx.

Yes, you can print any view in .pdf, but you have to install another software to do that, i.e., Adobe Acrobat or PrimoPdf. Greetings...

You can use the 3D dwf that REVIT will write straight from the program and give them a link to the free DWF program that AutoCAD provides.  DWF's provide a lot of data that you may not get from the PDF program.

Thanks WWHub. We are trying to find one file type for the whole project team (consultants included) to use. The contractor wants to recieve just one file type. DWF might be the way to go!

DWF is, in my opinion, by far the best format for CAD "digital prints", assuming you can get all the project participants to agree to use it.  It is far more intelligent than PDF.
