I have an error message about a missing element in my revit family. This message seems to not allow me to insert the family into a file. when I expand the error message, it doesnt allow me to delete the offending element.
any ideas? secret tricks?

I downloaded your family, loaded it into a project, and I didn't get any errors.  I've attached an image of what it looks like in the project (I'm using Revit Architecture) in case you notice something wrong that I wouldn't.

mustve been a file specific error then, or MEP specific if the both of you are using the architectural software. I ended up restarting/calling tech support and it works in MEP now.
