My class and i are new to the drafting program and i was wondering if anyone could tell us how to make a foundation, and how ot make a porch roof that conects with a circluar room on the second floor. Please help us.

Question, as i'm hearing this a lot...
How does someone run a class on a program they haven't used? Maybe its not a specific class on the program?? Please enlighten me as i'm intrigued.
Post Version 8.
Using the continuous footing tool in the structural tab. Then simply pick the walls you wish to apply the foundations.
Pre Version 8.
Using Floors set to the depth of the footings...
To answer the question about the porch i'd need more information:
For instance, an image of what you require would be good, and what parts you are having difficulty with...
