I am trying to create a room tag that has the ability to toggle on/off the visibility of the room area. I've clicked the = to the far right of "visible" under the element properties and assigned a yes/no shared parameter of "show area" to it as some of the other post on this topic have suggested, but I still can't control the visibilty of the room area. I've also loaded the shared parameter of "show area" as a project parameter into the project that I'm trying to use it in. What else am I missing? Can someone please shed some light on how exactly this works?

I don't know but i test the tag and works fine, the room area turns on or off if you check/uncheck the box "Show Area"...

This is very strange. The original room tag I posted works just as you said it does, but the room tag I've modified since this post does not work. Can you tell me what the difference is between to two files???

Looks Like I figured out the key. Show area has to be a Type Parameter rather than an Instance Parameter. It's also doesn't need to be a shared parameter. Is there no way to get it to work as an Instance parameter. Thanks!
