Hi, a screenshot of what you trying to do help. You don't say what version of Revit are you working, if is RAC 2009 try to use "Glass White Rippled" and change the parameters like do you want....

Decals are placed on faces and the problem with a curtain wall is that you have multiple faces and you would have to build your stained glass panel by panel.

However - a suggestion that might work.   Why not place a thin flat plane component in the middle of your curtain wall and place the decal on that.  Then simply don't have any glass panels.  This should render ok but it will not show up in shaded views.

Hi,

I would appriciate some thoughts on this problem.

I would like to add some “stain glass – panels” to this window. I though I could achieve this by( “extruding” each pain) that makes up the stain window, but when time to load into the project. The main file will not except it.

Albert, your family is not parametric, did you flex the family with the different types you have in that window (family)?

Leave only 24" x 48" type and delete the others, then you can load that into project but you will have the problem when you need to change the height or width of that window.
