While RAC09 was busy doing a hidden-line 1:08 30fps walkthrough .avi (using the Microsoft codec) through about a 100MB file (a 4-story dormitory complex), I accidentally hit the "Show Desktop" button on the Taskbar.

Now I can't get the window to restore itself and I don't know if it has ceased this operation, if there is a dialog I need to answer to get the video to complete itself or if everything is fine and it might be done animating by the time I leave work in an hour.  Has this happened to anybody else?  What were the results?  I saved immediately beforehand so I'm not worried about losing any information, I just know it has been doing this for an hour and a half so far and I'd like to not leave my computer on over the weekend.

Thanks and it's a pleasure to meet you all,

 Kevin

Double whoops!  Turns out the program showed up about 3 minutes after I started the thread.  Persistence pays off. Of course, now I have to do it again, because compression was set too low, but eh.

You can also tell if Revit is rendering by looking at the performance tab of the task bar - if it is showing activity and you're not doing anything else, it should be Revit working away.
