Hi,

you cannot "convert" curtain walls to windows. Windows are external family types, curtain walls are system families.

That said, what you need to do is make a curtain wall window family.

File > New > Family > Pick the "Metric/imperial-Window-Curtain wall " family.

Make a frameless glass panel and load it into your project/template

In your project/template, make a new family type and use the panel family you have just created. It will tag using the window tag and schedule as a window (one long window, but still a window)

If you want to convert one you have already created, swap-out the panel type in the family with the new one.

You can't convert them. Curtain walls are walls. If you need windows, then you have to create a window family that could have a grid structure with various family embeds -> advanced family modeling. Have fun....

A window can be created from curtain walls, see the tutorials of Reveit Arch 2009, "Creating an Entrance" where a door is created from curtain walls, even I myself created a window with the same method
