I have a sheet with two floor plans and two window details.  The plans are using a title bar created for plans and the window details are using a title bar for our window details.  The problem is that the numbering scheme won't allow me to have a plan detail numbered 1 and a window detail numbered 1 as well.  Am I missing something?  Is there a work around on this?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 Mike

It is not possible for Revit to allow two #1 details on the same sheet. This is due to the fact that Revit is coordinating the views across the whole project and it would know which one to connect to. My suggestion is to make a generic symbol to depict the number if you absolutley need it to be #1.

James, I am curious though how can you have multiple sets of sheets and then have consecutive numbers through out the project?  I haven't ever seen that before.  It would seem that if you have viewports from different aspects ie plans, sections, elevations and drafting details you should be able to label them differently especially if using a different viewport title...

Nope, james is right

you cant label something the same on a given sheet because then it wouldnt be 'smart'

you need to use sub-intervals like a or b or just number them differently

Thanks for all the input...It sounds like the approach to the numbering convention will have to be using a unique classification for details.
