Roof problems!
Hi,
I have been trying for the past few days to work out how to attach a simple gable roof that extends over a decking. This roof comes off the main roof which is just a straight roof with gables at both ends.
If someone could help I would greatly appreaciate it!
I will send the project file or an image of my problem to anyone that can help.
Thanks in advance!
Dave.

sounds simple enough - have you tried drawing a reference plane (like a construction line) then edit sketch on the roof? use the align command to bring that roof on out. Now, like they tell me, go to the roof tutorials and you WILL learn a lot about those roofs.

I got your email... but not sure I understand your question... what exactly are you trying to do?

Hmmmm, I know it's hard to describe in text. That small gable roof that extends over the decking needs to be connected directly to the main roof as if it is one whole roof. It must cut into the roof instead of just sitting on top. Also needs to be at same eave height. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Dave.

GO TO ROOF TUTORIALS AND YOU WILL BE DONE AND FINISHED EASIER THAN WE CAN TELL YA - THATS A QUICK FIX, BUT YOU NEED TO LEARN THE BASICS. IT MAY BE AS SIMPLE AS USING THE JOIN ROOFS COMMAND...
