I'm using using Revit 2009, and would like to know how to add additional Identity Data to the system family: Room. I know how to add parameter to custom elements, but I cannot find the button to "edit family" when it comes to "room."

Create your shared parameter then add it under project parameters ... rooms.

Got it. Thank you for the help. I knew it was possible and was comfortable with parameter manipulation but I did not know where to go the access the shared parameter and project parameter.
