I try to tag a vanity: message says " no tag is loaded for this type, would you like to load one?

I say yes.

in the imperial library folder I select "casework"

I select "domestic bathroom"

I select the tag with the same name as the vanity had in the browser and click open.

I then get the message, "family "......" is already in use in this project. Overwright existing version?"

I select yes, but don't check "override parameters"

I get message "Family is not of correct category"

The tag will tag a wall but, not a vanity.

Why can't I select the vanity?

I go thru the same sequence for a shower tag and get the same result, again tagging a wall but, not the shower.

Hey, when you are asked to load a tag, you have to load an annotation object; you can't select the vanity with the same name as this is a model component. To load a tag, you have to select something from the annotation folder in the imperial library. I haven't found a casework tag, but there may be some out there. Create a generic tag (file-->new-->annotation symbol and select "Generic Tag"Winking and under settings-->family parameters and categories select "casework tags". Create the desired labels and load it into the project, and now you should be able to tag the casework. To tag your shower, change the family category to plumbing fixtures.
