ok i think there could be a bit of a qlitch here im using RA2009 and i know i have done this before but here goes i could be going crazy. Array family with simple formula ( Parameter(length) / Parameter(integer)  -54mm Now i get the answer calculated in the value field but when i hit apply i get the following error message "Can't find solution for formulas for Type ' '." I have removed the parameter twice and redone it as well as changed the parameter type with still the same responce any ideas. Brett

ok dont worry i found the solution - add the parameter at the array creation stage. It seems you cant use a parameter created before the act in this situation? go figure
